Thank you for visiting our site and considering our services. You will find our efficiency and quality to be unmatched.

Polaris Consulting requires its consultants to have: 1. Technical Expertise, 2. Streamlined Project Management Skills, and 3. Superior Business Knowledge - all combined.

The primary reason Polaris Consulting excels in these areas is it’s emphasis on “Genchi Genbutsu” or “go and see for yourself”. We are committed to learning the ins and outs of your business and working onsite whenever possible. Other providers often fail as offsite development becomes increasingly disconnected. We literally work with the client.

Polaris leverages the entire TOYOTA PRODUCTION SYSTEM (TPS) in its development process. TPS ensures elimination of waste (muda), rapid development of the product, and quality assurance.

One of Polaris’ core tenets is the “application-empowered enterprise”. Rather than discourage development of smaller programs and systems, Polaris promotes identifying exceptional regional, departmental, or even user-generated applications - integrating these into larger enterprise systems. High-level systems should either be flexible or in some cases reserved for KPI only (note this exceptional article on system evolution).

Corporations focused only on the enterprise nature of applications (top-down / single-function) often fail to see the bottom-up best practices that will empower their entire organization.

Polaris’ philosophy places high emphasis on continuous improvement (kaizen) within the context of standardization. Both customer satisfaction and cost savings are assured. Optimal USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN ensures maximum data capture for business intelligence. Polaris also focuses on how people relate to technology in the context of overall ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION, making sure the right information gets to the right people. Technology must serve within this framework.

“Something is wrong if workers do not look around each day, find things that are tedious or boring, and then rewrite the procedures. Even last month’s manual should be out of date.”- Taichi Ohno, Father of Toyota Production System
